One of the best parts of mobile massage is that you don't have to go anywhere. But the tiny bit of prep you do before we arrive makes the whole hour drop deeper, faster.
1. Pick a room with about 8×8 feet of clear floor
The table itself is about 30 inches by 6 feet, but I need room to walk around all four sides. A living room, a spare bedroom, or a covered lanai all work great. Hard floors are fine — I bring my own padding.
2. Set the mood
- Lower the lights. A lamp or two, not the overhead.
- Warm the room. Aim for about 72°F. You'll be still and mostly uncovered.
- Silence phones. Do not disturb mode, kids and pets settled elsewhere.
- Music, or don't. I bring a small speaker with a calm playlist. If you'd rather have silence, just say the word.
3. Shower and hydrate an hour before
A warm shower loosens muscle tissue and makes the first ten minutes of work far more effective. Drink a glass of water — you'll want another one after the session too.
4. Keep two towels and a bottle of water nearby
I bring sheets, oils, bolsters, and the table. All you need on your side is a clean bath towel or two and something to drink after.
5. What to wear
Whatever level of clothing you're comfortable with — most people undress to their comfort level under the sheet. You are always draped; only the area being worked on is uncovered.
Why in-home beats a studio visit
- No driving down from the massage high. You slide straight from the table into the rest of your evening.
- Your space, your rules. Music, temperature, lighting, all yours.
- Time back. Round-trip drive to a studio + parking is usually 45+ minutes. That's yours again.
- Recovery is deeper because your body doesn't have to re-brace for a car ride home.
Ready when you are
Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes, from Makaha to Ewa (and a little beyond). Book a time, prep the room, and I'll bring the rest — see pricing and zones or book a session.
